Our honeybees are still busy ravaging the lavender--but the bumblebees, who are bigger and badder, like it too. I think they try to bully the honeybees off their favorite flowers--they've got sole possession of the peonies--but our girls love their lavender so much they are willing to compete for space with the bumbles.
